Dancing in the Rain

What a great quote by Vivian Greene, “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain.”  We use metaphors in life to guide us through many difficulties we might be facing. This particular quote depicts a metaphor of the seasons – rainy stormy days vs. the sunnier warmer days and in life:  struggles or turmoil vs. happy, joyful times. As you cannot change the weather, you also cannot change the past circumstances that may have brought upon turmoil (or the rain) you may be facing.

Dancing in the rain is changing our outlook to enjoying life when going through a rainy season. In changing our outlook, we must change our own powerful thoughts. Instead of dwelling on how bad the storm is, being fearful of the storm or running away, we need to focus our thoughts to the sunnier days. We focus on the life we envision living and by focusing and actually believing and knowing (or dancing), we begin to feel, believe and know the sun is shining even when there is a hurricane going on. We change our powerful vibrational thoughts to the direction of our desires.

Refocusing your own powerful vibrational thoughts to the sunnier days vs. the storm you may be going through really does work! Recently I have been struggling with something that was putting a big weight on my shoulders. I was focusing on the weight on my shoulders (the storm) and not focusing on the fruition of my dreams (sunshine). Instead of dancing as if the sun were shining, I was dwelling on the rain… When I finally realized this and redirected my thoughts to dancing (the reality of my dreams), being grateful for the many blessings in my life and knowing and feeling the sun will shine, I received some very wonderful news that had totally lifted that weight off of my shoulders!

Redirect and refocus your vibrational thoughts on life’s storms by dancing in the rain. Why not dance in the rain, because sooner or later the sun WILL shine! You will be amazed how this works each and every time!
