Intending What’s Next
In last week’s article: “Preparing For What’s Next”, I spoke to the fact that
on the Claim Your Worth!® journey, manifesting what you desire to experience
and how you desire to feel, in life, work, relationships, etc. has more to do
with what you let go of, than what you take on.
And to add onto that concept, this week I’d like to speak with you about the
power of intention and how when you have a strong, solid intention about what
it is that you desire to have and begin to prepare yourself and your
environment, for that intention to manifest, miracles truly do happen.
Let’s think about something that you’re dreaming of doing, being, experiencing,
etc. within the next six months to a year. Maybe you’re yearning to bring more
fun and adventure into your life. Or, maybe you’re yearning to have different
experiences in your relationships. Or, you’re yearning to experience something
on the work side of things.
What it is, get a clear vision of it in your mind.
Now, to give your vision even more clarity, take some time to write it down in
terms of what specifically it is that you desire and yearn to have, experience,
or do.
Got it? Great.
Now, what I encourage you to consider is – that what it is that you vision
and yearn for will manifest and now your only job is to begin to prepare for
that to happen and to really get clear on the woman that you’re being within
that vision.
So, let’s imagine that when you began to vision, you got a strong feeling that
you’re yearning for more fun, community, and sharing in your life – and that
you long to connect with others in a deeper way.
What you want to begin to think about is – what parts of your life,
environment, existing relationships, current attitude, fears, etc. need to be
let go of in order for you to experience more fun, adventure and community in
your life
Are there specific things that you know are a block to you being able to
experience this in the very near future? Maybe a booked calendar of work events
during the week that are blocked off on your calendar that prevent you from
doing a book club, or taking a dance class? And the weekend’s family events
take priority and there is no you time?
What about certain things, attitudes, or action-steps you need to take-on in
order for this to happen? Are there new ‘play’ cloths that you need to buy to
in order to prepare for all the fun adventures? What about mantras you can say
daily that would allow you to know deep down that you deserve to have more
space in your life to play, have fun, and take-on more adventures?
You’ll know the answers instinctively. Then, write them down.
The power of this exercise, and simply preparing for what’s next, and taking
very specific actions based on your intentions, need not be difficult – it’s
simply a matter of focus and knowing what it is that you yearn for.
And, as you’ll see, once again, it isn’t about going out and ‘getting’ what you
yearn for by taking more on – but rather taking very specific actions within
your intention that allow you to know instinctively that whatever it is that
you desire is going to happen, you just simply need to begin preparing for it
and getting ready for it!
Being very clear about what you choose to bring about is fundamental –and it’s
not really about what it is that you’re doing, but how you’re feeling with that
you’re doing with your time. I encourage you to choose wisely!
