Meet Absolutely Fabulous
Woman, Roxanne Darling
And Make an Escape to
Hawaii!
Roxanne is one of those multi-dimensional people - it's hard to
pack her into just one box! She is the CEO of Bare Feet Studios, (www.barefeetstudios.com) - a web tech
and social media advisory company. Their tagline is "Internet Literacy for
Business" and most of what Rox does has an element of knowledge
acquisition. She herself is a student of many things, and at 57 is still learning!
She is a popular speaker on tech and web topics, and can "both lift you up
and ground you at the same time."
She is the host of Beach Walks with Rox, a four-year running
internet TV show, with over 750 inspiring, informative, and entertaining
episodes. (www.beachwalks.tv) This was
one of the first video podcasts and has won numerous awards. Few have been able
to come close to Rox's output! She credits most of the show's success to their
location - the beautiful beaches of Hawaii, her co-star - Lexi, the black lab
who chases her toy in and out of the water, and her Secret Cameraman - her
partner Shane Robinson who walks backwards while Rox shares her random
insights, "sometimes serious, sometimes frivolous, always Aloha. She has
viewers in over 60 countries; over two million downloads, all receiving 5
minutes of stress-free beauty to the sound of the waves and original Hawaiian
music.
She is also a Divine Openings Giver, (www.inthetransition.com), and is
firmly grounded in both the practical and the spiritual. Divine Openings
(originally gifted to Lola Jones) is a direct experience of Divine Grace. It
opens up your pipes, helps you set resistance aside, and learn how to let the
Divine do the "heavy lifting!" So many tasks we take on and try to
micro-manage. If we learn how and when to let go and let the Divine, we can
take the "work" out of change and personal happiness.
Rox is active at applying the
esoteric in her life on a daily basis. "It's
easy to read a lot and give our thoughts and power away to things out there.
But with Divine Openings I do less work, feel chronically happy, and wonders
are occurring that I could not have thought up myself." For many years
she kept her spirituality isolated from her so-called normal life. Now she
finds they are inseparable!
