Self Discovery and Awakening: A Never-Ending Journey of Expansion

As I prepare for my radio show (http://www.CreateChangeNowRadio.com) later today, I am thinking about all the incredible souls who have come into my world in beautiful, synchronistic ways in years past as well as the present. I was always an introspective, curious child that questioned the confines of religion and seemingly contradictory teachings and behaviors of those around me and sought to gain knowledge that wasn't readily available to me. I was gradually drawn to people and experiences that brought me the knowledge I desired. That led me to question even further, and that journey of questioning and learning has only strengthened and intensified. My own in-depth awakening began about 15 years ago after a near death experience and it's been an incredible journey that has led me to experience new and fascinating levels of growth, evolution, and expansion.

One thing I know about the current state of our planet is that the time for self discovery and awakening is truly upon us in a grand way. Sovereignty, spiritual transcendence, conscious illumination of the soul - those are all words and phrases that serve as a reminder or a spiritual wake up call for me and they remind me of my personal mission, my purpose, and my soul's desires. I am committed to helping others empower themselves by embracing change and letting go of their fears of change. My intention is to empower people to move beyond the barriers and limitations that have held them back and allow themselves to enter into a new phase of their lives that allows for new ideas, new opportunities, and new ways of "being." Expanding our consciousness is the key to unlimited possibility and true soul expansion.

As I look around, I notice an increasing number of awakening souls who are remembering and embracing their own ability to co-create their reality with the power of their thoughts, actions, expectations, beliefs, and intentions and they are recognizing that they are in complete charge of creating their lives from moment to moment.

Awakening to our soul mission involves blowing the dark, dense clouds of limitation and confusion away by bringing more positive energy, love, and empowerment to ourselves and one another. It involves leaving auto-pilot living behind and accepting responsibility for tapping into the limitless possibilities available to us when we allow our spirit to guide the way. An unsettled mind and an unfulfilled spirit feels a new sense of liberation and passion for life when it realizes (real eyes) that life is not governed by fate or determinism, but rather our free will. We are not doomed to a particular kind of existence that is limiting or unfulfilling. Remembering that we have a soul purpose for being here and remembering that we can be the innovative force and driver of our life experience can serve as a magnificent catalyst for growth, expansion, and change.

Becoming the driver of our personal reality involves remembering that the wheel of our spiritual vehicle is directly inside our mind waiting for us to proactively navigate our journey through life. Life doesn't just happen to us, unless we allow that to happen by not taking deliberate, purpose-full control over our destiny. We have the power to design our reality from moment to moment. Every thought, every action, every word, and every conscious intention leads us to each new stop on the highway of our existence. Focus is everything. Our focus is the blueprint for our future. The direction of our focus is our own choice in every moment.

So often we look outside ourselves for answers, and yet when we recognize that all the answers lie within us, we can begin to change the world, one heart at a time. As conscious beings, we all have the potential for expansion and higher awareness. Our attention and commitment to healing ourselves and our immediate environment through conscious, heart-centered living affects not only affects and changes our personal lives, but global consciousness. This is because we are all connected, and our thoughts and actions create a ripple effect, impacting the people around us, our environment, and ultimately, the consciousness of the planet.

Create a positive ripple today. This is your daily opportunity. Embrace it and know that you're affecting change not only in your own life, but in the global community.
