Shifting the Intention

 

Invisible energy is always present and moving among us. The energy you put forth and are putting your attention to will always manifest in your life.

 

We go through our busy days at times mechanically and our only thought is to get as much done as we can so that we can at last get home and fall into bed – only to start it all over again. We move in auto pilot and find it difficult to take the time to enjoy our lives the way we were meant to enjoy them.

 

Your body is telling you that you really should schedule in that workout. You know that you really should spend some quiet time to appreciate where you are at in life right now. Yes, you know you should really take the time to make those phone calls to your loved ones and arrange a visit. Your spirit is telling you to take the time to be grateful for your many blessings.  You desire to have the time to enrich and expand your mind by reading enlightening and motivating books. You cannot possibly eat nutritionally as you barely have the time to stop at a fast food restaurant to pick up dinner – let alone cook something. You are feeling overwhelmed by the amount of responsibilities you have to get things done – whether it is in your home, with your family or at your job. You are aching to take a little time for yourself to be creative, be quiet, recharge your batteries, take a leisurely bubble bath, contribute to your favorite charitable organization, garden or to do any of the things that you are passionate about.

 

This list can go on and on because your attention is being put forth to getting as much done as you can – only to be recycled each and every day as if you are running on a treadmill and not actually going anywhere.

 

So how can we put a stop to this madness in our lives? The answer is shifting the intention. Note, I said intention – not attention.  But to do this, you do have to pay attention to your intention. Instead of putting your attention to trying to get all of that stuff done, make a shift in your intention.

 

I like to begin my day first thing in the morning when I wake up by spending a few quiet moments to set my “core” intentions for the day. If it takes setting the alarm 15-30 minutes early – then do it. Or perhaps this might work better for you at night before you go to bed. Yes, there is a list of “to-do” items that you think must get done. But instead of focusing on all of the “to-do” items, shift your intention to what it is that your heart – your core wishes for you.  Focus your powerful vibrational thoughts to your passions and your dreams and tune in to what it is that would transform your life to manifest those dreams.

 

When you determine the core of your spirit and what it is that would make you happy, thriving and the real YOU, make the intention each and every day to work it into your daily schedule. So what really would happen if all of your “to-do” items didn’t get crossed off for the day? Most likely, nothing Earth shattering! If some of those daily chores or items on your list are bogging you down, ask for help. Until recently, I thought I had to do it all myself. I thought that I had to do it myself in order to get it done to my standards.  Certain things are just not that important. YOU are important!

 

But ask yourself this question: what would happen if you didn’t reconnect to your core and to your dreams?  Probably your health, your loved ones and your personal and work life would most likely suffer. It is THAT important to reconnect to your spirit!

 

So please do begin by shifting the intention and allow yourself to start paying attention to what it is that is the core of YOU – an Absolutely Fabulous Woman!
