Snowball Effect
Ever
notice how some things tend to spin out of control? You may wake up one morning
dreading the day ahead for whatever your reasons and find that nothing seems to
go right. Your thoughts are consumed by the negativity that is happening around
you. You feel like you are not getting anything accomplished and are overcome
with distractions – You are stepping one foot forward, but three back. As your
frustration builds, so do the negative things that happen. Everyone seems grouchy and you feel like you
cannot do anything right. It’s like a snowball effect – growing bigger and
bigger and out of control.
Well,
guess what? What you are projecting and putting your focus on is exactly what
continues to happen to you. You are responsible for the mayhem of the
negativity around you. As you are focusing on the “bad day” you are having, it
keeps staying that way – spinning out of control. How can you be so responsible
for other people’s grouchiness? Just how is it your fault that there are many
distractions getting in your way?
A basic
universal law is this, the more energy you are putting your attention to, the
more you are getting of the same. So if you are focusing on the negativity –
focusing on the problem vs. the solution, the more you will get of the same.
So
how about this – what if you practiced waking up with a positive mindset? Make
a decision that this day will be absolutely fabulous. If something negative
should happen, make a choice to change your vibrational thoughts to the
positive aspects. If a problem should crop up, focus on the solution vs. the
problem itself. Be prepared with answers
and solutions if you know you may have to face something unpleasant during the
day. Should you find yourself in a situation that could trigger negative
feelings, take a little time out, breathe deeply and focus on your blessings.
Start projecting a more positive and optimistic energy and the people around
you will begin to respond to you in the same way.
By
practicing this mindset, guess what? You have created a positive snowball
effect. You have become the conduit of positive, productive energy and all
things good. Your day didn’t end up so bad after all. You were pleased by all
of the things you were able to achieve. You were prepared and able to overcome
any obstacles that were thrown your way. You have a sense of well being and
happiness and realize that the day ended up to be a good day – an absolutely
fabulous day indeed! It’s ultimately your choice!
